Geocaching Buddy 4.3 available!
The possibility to switch fast between apps urged me to submit a quick update to Apple. This version runs on both iOS3 and iOS4 but on iOS4 on an iPhone 3GS or better the fast app switching works great!
Apart from this enhancement this version now also provides the often requested PASTE possibility in the waypoint editor and the formula editor! Entering waypoints by copying them in some description and pasting them in GCBuddy was never so easy.
To further enhance that copy/paste possibility the cache local desription now remembers its scroll position.
Finally a first peek at the new search/sort features are in release 4.3. Since people store more and more geocaches they've solved in GCBuddy there is a need to search for a geocache. In version 4.3 you can search on the code of a cache. The next version will have more powerfull search and sort capabilities.

Geocaching Buddy 4.1
Translated into the French language and containing a handy link to iphonecaching.appspot.com when adding a cache. This 3th party web app contains an export to GCBuddy to transfer the main part of the geocache information to GCBuddy.
The description is also stored locally when using this feature including any images which are partof the description. So in the field no Internet connectivity is necessary to read the local cache description.

Geocaching ToolKit 1.3
The geocaching toolkit I've been working on is called iGCT, as a hommage to the first toolkit developed for a PDA called PGCT. PGCT was my inspiration for starting this iPhone project! Thanks to team Sweetlake for handing over all necessary mathematical formula's for this utility. It saved me a lot of time so I could concentrate on the user interface!

Coffee Time
After
all programming for the geocaching apps (GCBuddy and iGCT) it was a
pretty simple to solve the standard problem everybody faces when
getting a round of coffee/tea/choco for co-workers.
Extensive searching in the App Store learned there was no app for that so I did write this small simple utility to do exactly what was needed: maintain a list of drinks and make it extremely easy to count what everybody wants. More details at:
